The living situation in Haiti is a tragedy beyond comprehension.  For years the people of Haiti have lived in poverty and isolation. Now, the few resources they have enjoyed have been destroyed and at last count 150,000 Haitian people have died, with tens of thousands missing.

We cannot imagine the magnitude of the death, injury, disease and hunger which is a fact of life twenty four hours a day in Haiti.  We want to help.  At Noxadem our staff is dedicated to improving the health of our many customers with advanced science.  We looked around for a way to use that same discipline to help the people of Haiti, and came across Shelter Box.  Based in England, it sends a sturdy box with  a tent for ten people, a stove, bedding supplies, water purification tools and other essential needs.  The advanced science here is the state of the art design and delivery of tools to meet the most basic human needs – shelter, a way to cook food and a place to sleep.
